Drawings from the dag en nachtboeken

Drawings from the day and night books, dag en nachtboeken, are sketches, scribbles, notes, thought bombs, short moments of hyperfocus or relaxed expressions in pencil, chalk, marker and paint. I may also tackle the A6 booklet with a knife, scissors, pair of compasses or other drawing weapon. I usually pick up the books in the evening, just before going to sleep. To get rid of the last bit of energy of the day before going into the night. I find great freedom in the books: they can be opened and closed.
